Return and Exchange Policy

First And Foremost:

If you’re considering a return or exchange you probably ordered something with us...which means we owe you a big "thank you!" for shopping at ShopForMeme! 

We are super duper sorry your ShopForMeme journey hit a pothole! We’ll work with you to smooth out any bumps provided you file a claim for a return/exchange in good faith.


Section I: The Return and Exchange Policy

  1. To be eligible for a return your item(s) must go through a required claim process. The process is designed to help us work through the claim with as little inconvenience to you as possible. We understand the situation is not ideal, and appreciate your patience as we work through the claim process together!
  2. If an item is delivered to you as flawed, defective, damaged, broken, or if you receive the wrong item, you can file a claim up to 30 days after the delivery date to potentially be eligible for a free replacement. To be eligible for a free replacement you must file a claim, and the claim must be approved.
  3. If an item is NOT flawed, defective, damaged, or broken upon delivery, or if no wrong items are delivered, you can file a claim up to 45 days after delivery to be potentially eligible for an exchange. In this case you will need to ship the relevant items back to us, at your own expense, to be eligible for an exchange. To be eligible for an exchange you must file a claim, and the claim must be approved.
  4. Part of the claim process will include returning your item(s) to us in the same condition you received it/them: unworn, unused, unwashed, with tags, with proof(s)-of-purchase, and in the original packaging. We cannot process refunds, free replacements, or exchanges for items that have been used, worn, washed, or cleaned.
  5. A Heads Up! You’ll need to upload a clearly-legible photo (or photos) of the relevant item(s) proof-of-purchase, or receipt(s), when you file a claim. Please do not attempt to doctor, edit, change, or otherwise falsify a proof-of-purchase or receipt - that's fraud, homie - and will result in claim denial.
  6. ShopForMeme and its partners, staff, affiliates, and stakeholders reserve the right to: a) establish the validity of all claims, b) approve any claim that is determined to be valid, c) deny any claim that is determined to be fraudulent, predatory, deceptive, or otherwise filed in bad faith, and d) deny any claim that does not align with the return policy.
  7. Please do not send items back to us until prompted to do so. Items sent back to us without filing a claim, or without being prompted to do so, will not be accepted and no returns, refunds, or exchanges will be provided, and we cannot compensate for any shipping-related costs you incurred. Items sent back to us prior to the appropriate prompt from the claims management system may cause significant delay in claim processing, or potentially claim denial - even if the claim was originally filed properly.

Section II: Eligibility Timetables for Returns and Exchanges


  • 1. Up to 30 days after item delivery:

  • Items that are delivered as defective, flawed, broken, or damaged, or if an incorrect item is delivered, may be eligible for a free replacement if a claim is filed within 30 days of delivery. To receive a free replacement, you must file a claim within 30 days of delivery, and the claim must be approved.

    Please note: all “Item Eligibility” parameters (noted in the Item Eligibility section below) apply, including non-acceptance of items that have been worn, used, or washed. All other parameters of the overall policy also apply.

    Part of the claim process will include returning your item(s) to us in the same condition you received it/them: unworn, unused, unwashed, with tags, with proof(s)-of-purchase, and in the original packaging.

    We cannot process refunds or free exchanges when a claim is filed more than 30 days after delivery date.

    We are not able to provide cash refunds under any circumstance.


  • 2. Up to 45 days after item delivery:

  • If you file a claim in good faith within 45 days of original delivery date, your items *should* be eligible for exchange...even if nothing is “wrong” with your order or items, you simply decided you don’t want them anymore. In this case, you are responsible for the cost to ship the relevant items back to us prior to your claim becoming eligible for an exchange.

    Please note: all “Item Eligibility” parameters (noted in the Item Eligibility section below) apply, including non-acceptance of items that have been worn, used, or washed. All other parameters of the overall policy also apply.

    We cannot process refunds or free exchanges for items when a claim is filed more than 30 days after the original delivery date.

    Part of the claim process will include returning your item(s) to us in the same condition you received it/them: unworn, unused, unwashed, with tags, with proof(s)-of-purchase, and in the original packaging.

    We are not able to provide cash refunds under any circumstance.

    We cannot process exchanges for items when a claim is filed more than 45 days after the original delivery date.

    Section III: Item Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

    1. We cannot accept returns, refunds, exchanges, or any form of “browser back button”  for items that have been worn, used, or washed.
    2. We cannot accept returns, refunds, exchanges, or any form of “undo.exeon sale items, gift cards, or store credit.
    3. We are not responsible for any items or services that were acquired via individuals, firms, or organizations outside of ShopForMeme. 
    4. Certain types of items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded, under any circumstance, such as but not limited to: perishable goods (such as food, flowers, plants, etc), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), personal care goods (such as beauty products, grooming products, fragrances, etc), hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. 
    5. If you’ve reviewed this policy but are still uncertain about an item’s eligibility for return or exchange, your best bet is to file a claim so we can verify on our end.

    Section IV: Ok, got it. But what do I do when…


  • 1. An item is broken, flawed, damaged, or defective upon delivery, or a wrong item is delivered:

  • You can file a claim within the first 30 days of delivery to potentially be eligible for a free replacement. In this case, part of the claim process will involve shipping the item(s) back to us, at no additional cost to you, prior to a replacement or exchange being approved.

    Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds or free exchanges for items 30+ days after their original delivery date.

     

  • 2. An item is NOT broken, flawed, damaged, or defective upon delivery, and no wrong items are delivered:

  • You can file a claim within the first 45 days of delivery to potentially be eligible for an exchange. In this case, part of the claim process will involve shipping the item(s) back to us, at your own expense, prior to an exchange being approved.

    Unfortunately, we cannot process exchanges for items 45+ days after their original delivery date.


    You made it to the end, you’re a beast! Quick tl;dr - 

    ShopForMeme has a Return and Exchange Policy. For your items to qualify for a return or exchange you must file a claim and that claim must be approved.

    Some items may qualify for a return, free exchange, or non-free exchange, and some items may not. We’ll work with you through the claim process as long as you’re acting in good faith.

    “30-day free exchanges” are different from “45-day exchanges” because the qualification parameters are different.
